Red was Blue

(sound art for live performance)

My sound work comprised of “domestic field recordings” provided an audio backdrop for Rebecca May Johnson’s reading of her text The recipe for blue was red, at an interdisciplinary performance event at Cafe Oto, London.

This 13-minute stereo piece, echoing the themes of Johnson’s text, incorporated extensive recordings of tomatoes cooking on the stove.
